Reflective supervision is a hallmark of high quality infant and early childhood services and a key requirement in the Culturally Responsive, Relationship Focused Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Endorsement® (Endorsement). With the roll out of Endorsement here in North Carolina, this training is designed to support program supervisors in implementing or enhancing the reflective supervision they provide to staff within their programs.

This virtual learning experience will provide 9 hours of didactic training targeted towards enhancing supervisors’ knowledge of diversity informed reflective supervision. Sessions will focus on the ways in which supervisors can support infant and early childhood professionals in exploring multiple perspectives and using relationship based interventions to promote growth in their direct service work, as well as taking a deeper dive into some of the key features of reflective organizations.

After completing the training, participants will receive their own group reflective consultation that meets 1-2 times per month. These groups will support participants as they begin to implement and grow reflective supervision within their programs.
