Reflective supervision is a hallmark of high quality infant and early childhood services and a key requirement in the Culturally Responsive, Relationship Focused Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Endorsement® (Endorsement). This short pre-training is dedicated to supporting supervisors of those participating in the year long Reflective Supervision Learning Collaborative to explore the research and theory behind reflective supervision/consultation in programs serving  infants, toddlers, young children and their families. 

Presenter Bio(s)

Salam Soliman, Psy D., IMH-E® is the Director of the Center of Prevention and Early Trauma Treatment at Child First.  In that role, she oversees all the federal grant requirements which include replication of the Child First model, system development in the form of providing evidence-based training and consultation services in communities across the US as well as developing training for providers working with young children and helping create systems that work to support families and young children.

Diane Britz, LCSW, IMH-E® is the North Carolina Regional Clinical Director for Child First. Diane is responsible for the clinical consultation, training, and quality enhancement for the Child First affiliate sites in the State of North Carolina. Diane began her work in the Child First program in 2013 as an affiliate site Clinical Director in Connecticut and later in Wilmington, North Carolina.  Prior to her work in Child First, Diane worked in and supervised home-based programs in Connecticut. Diane has experience working with special populations including infant and early childhood mental health, foster care/adoption, and children with special health care needs. Diane earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Syracuse University.
