Designed for any early childhood professional interested in understanding ZERO TO THREE’s Diagnostic Classification of Mental Health and Developmental Disorders of Infancy and Early Childhood (DC:0-5TM), the Overview Training introduces this tool and its use. Participants will gain knowledge about the elements of a mental health diagnosis in early childhood and the process undertaken to identify a diagnosis.


This 4-hour Overview Training does not prepare participants to assess or diagnose with the DC:0-5TM, but facilitates an understanding of the elements of a diagnosis and the process undertaken to identify it. It is free to ALL North Carolina professionals who work with or on behalf of infants, young children, and their families and want to grow their understanding of the types of disorders babies and young children can experience and the factors that influence them.
