Co-sponsored by NCIMHA, participants may choose to attend one or both of the presentations in this series.
Session 1 will provide participants with a brief overview of what reflective supervision/consultation (RSC) practice is and what research tells us about its value to professionals and programs. A panel discussion will feature multi-disciplinary perspectives on the use and value of RSC within multiple roles and programs. It will be most beneficial for funders, policy makers, administrators, program managers and others who support direct providers of IECMH services.
Session 2 will provide an opportunity to dive deeper into how RSC looks and feels, compared to other forms of supervision and coaching. Presenters will share resources for training on RSC to support participants in identifying next steps for program implementation. Presenters will discuss specific steps and strategies for implementation, based on agency culture, size, resources and supervisory capacity. This session will be most beneficial for those in supervisory roles, administration or others that are interested in exploring how RSC can be implemented into practice.
