This presentation will provide a foundation for understanding the role of screening infants and young children across the domains of development. Content will focus on the importance of screening for social-emotional development in particular, and the role of cultural and environmental factors in social emotional development and screening. Discussion will include best practice considerations for how programs and providers can effectively engage with families in the screening process before, during, and after it is completed.
